Sanjana Ganesan, sports anchor and better half of cricketer Jasprit Bumrah, took to Instagram on Sunday, April 27, to blast a section of social media for mercilessly trolling their son, Angad Bumrah. The reason the baby became the focal point on social media was because of his facial expression during the Mumbai Indians (MI) vs Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) match on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Ganesan has publicly spoken to the trollers to not make any assumptions about her toddler baby based on just a few photos and a few moments of footage.

"Our son is NOT a topic for your entertainment. Jasprit and I do everything in our power to keep Angad away from social media because the internet is a despicable, vile place to be, and I completely understand the implications of bringing a child to a cricket stadium filled with cameras, but please understand that Angad and I were there to support Jasprit and nothing else," she said in her strong message to trolls.
The sports presenter has also called out the trollers who used terms like "Baby Bumrah has mental health, like depression." For the unversed, Angad is just 1.5 years of age and has just started to come to see matches of his father in the stadium.

“Throwing around words like trauma and depression in reference to a baby says so much about who we're becoming as a community, and it's honestly really sad. You know nothing about our son, nothing about our lives, and I request you to keep your opinions online true to that,” she said on Instagram Stories.

Jasprit Bumrah shines for MI against LSG
Speaking about Jasprit Bumrah, the pacer had a terrific outing against LSG, as he ended up taking four wickets and enabled a thumping 54-run win for MI. Bumrah's searing yorkers were just too good for LSG batters. In the process, the 31-year-old also broke Lasith Malinga's record, as Bumrah now has 174 wickets - the most wickets for a player in MI.
