Zimbabwe hosts New Zealand in the 3rd T20I of the Zimbabwe Tri-Series 2025 in Harare on July 18. The match starts from 4:30 PM IST, with the African nation needing to win the game to stay alive in the series.
So far, two matches have been played, with South Africa winning the first game and New Zealand the second. All three teams have played atleast one game each, with the Proteas winning one game and the Kiwis the other.
Hosts Zimbabwe are yet to get started in the series in terms of winning a match. Heading into this Tri-Series, they lost a Test series against South Africa, with records tumbling in the two-match Test series.

Zimbabwe have found wins tough to come by in recent times. Meanwhile, though New Zealand won the first T20I, it was Tim Robinson and Bevon Jacobs who bailed them out of trouble after the middle-order was dismissed cheaply.
The inexperienced Kiwi batting lineup will need to rest control in the third T20I. Three of their top seven batters scored in single digits, which they need to correct in the next game. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, needs to keep the pressure on the batting lineup, knowing that they are not in good form. Needing to win the game, they will then need to back their batters to chase whatever is posted by the Kiwis. If they bat first, they will at least need to score somewhere close to 180 to challenge the Kiwis.
