Veteran Afghanistan cricketer Mohammad Nabi is back in action in the ongoing Shpageeza Cricket League. The matches are being played in Kabul. Nabi was in action for the Mis Ainak Knights.
He played against the Amo Sharks on Wednesday and was up against his son Hassan Eisakhil who is playing his trade for the Sharks. The match was between the Knights and the Sharks.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz was leading the Mis Ainak Knights, while Sharafuddin Ashraf was leading the Sharks. In a rare moment between the two teams, Nabi was bowling to his son Hassan. Before this knock, Hassan played two matches scoring 6 and 36 runs respectively.

Mohammad Nabi bowled just one over for the Knights, led by Gurbaz. He was introduced to the attack in the ninth over of the innings and was hit for a six in the very first delivery by his 18-year-old son. The video of Hassan hitting Nabi for a massive six is making the rounds on social media.
Talking about the match, the Sharks scored 162 runs batting first, led by Hassan Eisakhil’s knock of 52 runs off 36 balls. He hit five fours and two sixes during his innings. One of those sixes was against Nabi in the only over he bowled.
The Ainak Knights won the match in the end as they chased the target down with three overs remaining. Openers Wafiullah Tarakhil (49 runs off 21 balls) and Khalid Taniwal (56 runs off 27 balls) set the platform for the Knights in the chase. Gurbaz, the skipper scored 28 runs off 20 balls.

Nabi Plans To Play With His Son For Afghanistan
Meanwhile, Nabi who was planning to retire from international cricket after the Champions Trophy has taken a U-turn on his call. He expressed his desire to play along with his son for the national team.
“These might not be my last ODIs (the Champions Trophy), and I will probably play less ODIs and give chances to the youngsters to build experience. I’ve discussed with the senior players, and in the high-level games, maybe or maybe not, we’ll see. It will depend on my fitness. It’s my dream (to play together for the country), and hopefully we can do it. He (Eisakhil) is doing very well. He is a hard worker, and I’m also pushing him to work," Nabi was quoted as saying by ICC.
