UAE vs BAN Match Preview & Where to Watch Live? Bangladesh tour of UAE 2025, 3rd T20I

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will lock horns with Bangladesh in the third and final T20I on Wednesday, May 21. The series is up for a fascinating finish as it is locked 1-1. UAE chased a record chase in the second T20I to show they are no pushovers. Bangladesh will be hoping they put in a much-improved performance with bat and ball to avoid a series defeat at the hands of the UAE.

Bowling has looked dismal for the visitors as they failed to defend a 200-plus run total in the second T20I against the UAE. Although the pitch assisted batters, Bangladesh, with more experienced bowlers, should have defended such a huge total.

Muhammad Waseem has been phenomenal so far for the hosts. The batter played a pivotal role for UAE, chasing 206 runs in the second T20I. He is the only batter in the history of the T20Is to average above 40 and score at a strike rate of above 150 while scoring more than 1000 T20I runs. Bangladesh will have to devise a plan to stop him if they have plans to win the T20I series. Apart from Waseem, even Mohammad Zohaib has been good, chipping in with useful cameos.

For Bangladesh, bowling needs to step up, as barring Nahid Rana and Rishad Hossain, the rest have looked off-color. Also, their batters have failed to strike above 150 on a consistent basis. With T20 cricket changing, Bangladesh batters also need to show more positive intent upfront to maximize the power play.
