Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj has been fined 15 percent of his match fees annd has been charged with Level 1 offence for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct on day 4 of the Lord's Test.
Siraj dismissed Ben Duckett and gave him an ugly send-off which got him booked by the ICC. All the Indian bowlers were pumped up and they gave it back to England after how things panned out in the final of the day on day 4.
Mohammed Siraj got Ben Duckett dismissed inside the circle as he was the first England wicket to fall on day 4. The Indian pacer yelled at his pace as Duckett was going back to the pavillion. The incident happened in the sixth over.

Mohammed Siraj Gave A Fierce Send Off To Ben Duckett
On-field umpires Paul Reiffel and Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid, third umpire Ahsan Raza and fourth umpire Graham Lloyd levelled the charges on the Indian pacer. Mohammed Siraj admitted the charges. Level one offence will subject the player to a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a player’s match fee, and one or two demerit points.
It was Mohammed Siraj's second ICC Code of Conduct breach in the last 2 years. Previously ,he was booked in the Adelaide Test against Australia in December 2024.
"Siraj violated Article 2.5 of ICC's Code of Conduct which states using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during an International Match.”

India Need 135 Runs On Day 5 At Lord's
Meanwhile, India need 135 runs more to win the third Test at Lord's and go 2-1 up in the series. England and India both scored 387 runs in their first innings. England in their second innings were bowled out for 192 runs. Chasing 193 to win, India lost four wickets in the final session of day 4 for 54 runs. KL Rahul was unbeaten on 33 runs at stumps with Akash Deep ( 1 run off 11 balls) falling in the final over of the day.
